One of the most deeply relaxing treatments in Ayurveda. Shirodhara is a warm and consistent flow of medicated oil rhythmically poured on the forehead over specific marma points (vital energy points). This treatment induces a state similar to the relaxation response observed in meditation. Shirodhara is used in stress, insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, chronic headaches as it helps to promote and enhance mental clarity.
